
Key Nutrition Tips for Kids
- Be physically active at least 1 hour 5 days a week.
- Eat at least 5 servings of fruits or veggies every day.
- Eat breakfast every morning.
- Drink several glasses of fat-free milk every day.
- Limit screen time to 1 hour each day. (Screen time includes the TV, computer, and electronic games.)
- Don’t eat while watching TV or while on the computer.
- To lose weight—write down everything you eat and every activity you do for a week. Then figure out which foods or activities you should cut out and which ones you should add to.
